PROFILE

The 21st Century Stones are a premier Rolling Stones Tribute Band that replicate the sound and the style of the Rolling Stones live performances in the late 60's through to the early 80's.
Since their formation in 1998, The 21st Century Stones have worked hard to establish themselves as one of the UK's leading tribute acts. The band is comprised of actors/musicians who have all worked professionally in such West End musicals as Buddy and Return to the Forbidden Planet.
Taking advantage of the fact that the bands members are all around the same age as the Stones in their heyday, The 21st Century Stones set out to authentically recreate the energy and atmosphere of the Rolling Stones seminal live performances of that period. ‘The Rock n Roll Circus’, ‘The Free Gig at Hyde Park’ and the ‘Get Yer Ya Yas Out’ tour along with live recordings such as ‘Got Live If You Want It’ and ‘Flashpoint’ became the inspiration for the look and sound of the 21st Century Stones.
The band firmly believe that it's not only the Rolling Stones amazing back catalogue, which includes some of the greatest hits of all time, that has kept the Rolling Stones at the forefront of British rock ‘n’ roll for over forty years, but their ability to put on a show wherever they perform. This is what the band aim to do: they're not about just recreating the records note for note, but giving audiences a taste of what it was like the first time round, inspiring many people to comment that it was just like when they saw the Stones in the sixties

Previous clients include The Sun Newspaper, The Belfry Golf Club, The Bedford River Festival, plus a warm up gig for the Rolling Stones 2004 Forty Licks Tour playing with Art Wood (Ronnie's brother), Geno Washington & The Yardbirds. They have also been featured on Chris Evans BBC Radio 2 programme.

Guide to fee

The guide to fee is an approximate quote, as factors such as location, set-up time, time of year, day of week etc can affect the price.

Travel Expenses

Travel expenses are added to our acts base fee and are calculated by the distance from their home postcode to the venue postcode location.

The costings are as follows;

First 25 miles - free
26-50 miles - add £65
51-75 miles - add £125
76 to 99 miles - add £190
110 miles and above - price on application (accommodation will generally expected, or an additional driver's fee charge)

Set up and packing away times

Prices for evening performances are based on the acts arriving at the venue for 6.00 pm and the performance finishing at midnight. Earlier set-up times and later finish times are usually possible but may incur an additional charge.

Food

With travelling to the venue, set up time, performance time, pack down and the return journey, our acts are generally on the go for a minimum of 10 hours on the day of the performance. For this reason a hot meal is requested for each member of the booked act before the performance.
